Expert Pruning: We prune hedges, shrubs, trees and everything in between. Our pruning is carried out or supervised by the company owner, Paul Buikema an ISA Certified Arborist (PN-5482A), WCB Certified Tree Risk Assessor (#0093) and a Certified Horticulture Technician (#459 Retail).

Landscape design: We can design an outdoor living space specifically for you. We can provide inexpensive sketches or scale drawings.

Landscape installation: We install top quality products and plant material suited to our climate and tailored to your needs and desires.

Other Services include: Landscape and Garden consulting (plant ID, IPM advice, nutrition management and general problem solving), arborist reports, hazard tree assessments, organic fertilizing (foliar and deep root), seasonal cleanups.

Paul has been a guest on a number of gardening radio talk shows (QMFM, CKNW, CBC), gives seminars/talks on a range of landscape and garden topics (pruning, lawn care, plant health care, integrated pest management etc) to many audiences (including the South Burnaby Garden Club, Squamish Garden Club, Cloverdale Garden Club, Gardenworks @ Lougheed, Art's Nursery, Cedar Rim Nursery, Valley Garden Center & The Natural Gardener store) and is a regular contributor to a number of garden and arborist oriented online web forums. Paul has lead and assisted on arborist walks at Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam over the last two years and has given seminars (hands on pruning) on behalf of HEBC. Paul also has helped coworkers and associates prepare for the CHT exam by teaching informal courses on topics such as pruning, plant ID, equipment operation, customer etiquette, and more.
